Cookie Policy

1. The cookies we set

• Authentication cookies, set by Supabase when you sign in. They are what keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and they are cleared when you sign out or your session expires. Without them there is no way to stay logged in.
• NEXT_LOCALE, set when you choose English, Arabic or French. It stores nothing but that choice, so the site does not reset your language every time you arrive.

That is the complete list. Both are first-party — they are set by Sawt, readable only by Sawt, and are never shared.

2. What we do not use

Sawt loads no analytics, advertising or tracking script of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising network, no session-recording or heatmap tool, and no third-party tag manager anywhere on this site or in the dashboard.

We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or share browsing data, and no third party is in a position to track you across other sites because of us.

3. Why you are not shown a cookie banner

Consent banners exist for cookies that are not necessary to provide the service — chiefly analytics and advertising. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, cookies that are strictly necessary or purely functional do not require consent.

Both of ours fall in that category, so there is nothing here to ask you to agree to. We would rather say that clearly on a page you can check than interrupt you with a banner that has no decision behind it. If we ever add a cookie that does require consent, you will be asked before it is set, and this page will say so.

4. Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking ours has two consequences and no others: you will be signed out and unable to sign back in, and the site will stop remembering your language.

5. Related technologies

The dashboard uses your browser’s local storage for small interface preferences, such as your light or dark theme. Local storage is not a cookie — it is never sent to our servers, and it stays on your own device.
